Be part of a growing SaaS product development team! At Hub Planner, technology makes up the core of our business, and we are building it with highly skilled, talented, and ambitious people. To improve our product and business decisions as we continue to scale, Hub Planner is searching for a Lead Full Stack Developer to join and help lead our team to continue building the most innovative Resource Management SaaS service on the market!

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will work on the core Hub Planner product development, support and guide the technical team in making overarching architectural choices, package choices, coding direction for the system, and help guide and mentor more junior colleagues. You will collaborate with our design, QA and UX teams to improve our software, identify security risks, create documentation and manage code reviews.

As well as being a talented developer, we are looking for someone who is able to lead and inspire the tech team to reach their goals, be able to run technical meetings, give constructive feedback, understand development times, present ideas and solutions to the team as well as being an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities 

The following skills are required to be a suitable applicant for Lead Full Stack Developer role at Hub Planner.

  • Design and develop critical pieces of code

  • Run Daily Stand up Scrum meetings with the tech team

  • Conduct code reviews with developers through pull requests

  • Own the deployments to each environment

  • Remain abreast of new developments in web technologies that may benefit the process and development of products

  • Proactively addressing security concerns and suggesting improvements

  • Create detailed technical plans for execution and implementation of features

  • Facilitate meetings and requirements gathering

  • Provide Technical leadership

Requirements & Skills

The following skills are required to be a suitable applicant for the Lead Full Stack Developer role at Hub Planner.

  • 5 years of full stack web development experience, JavaScript, Node.js and React.

  • MongoDB – Experience working with MongoDb Aggregation Pipeline and Big Data sets.

  • AWS Experience

  • Excellent problem-solving skills that draw on both analytical and creative thinking

  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to discern priorities and constraints, and to devise appropriate solutions

  • High level understanding of data structures and data sizes for optimizing data flow
