Hub Planner is looking for an experienced designer with a keen eye for UX. With your design abilities and creative approach, you will design and UX the user interface of the Hub Planner Brand. Take charge of the current campaign site user interface, along with producing branding materials for marketing and advertising. Be heavily involved with the design and UX of the SaaS platform driving Hub Planner forward.

Job Description

We need someone who can help with the UX and product design of Hub Planner. So basically a great designer who has a core understanding of UX. For example someone who could

  • UX out new features and extensions for Hub Planner which can be delivered to the tech team for development

  • Revamp some of the current UI to be more usable and current

  • Create branding and marketing materials to be used on our campaign site or SoMe

  • Create advertising material

  • Someone who knows CSS and the limits of the web (i.e. not just creating things in photoshop which can’t be realistically done)

  • Come up with offline decks, presentations etc

  • Marketing Concepts

  • Someone who likes to work with QA to ratify their design is executed and tested correctly. You care about the pixels!

What Your Day Would Look Like?

A hint as to what your day would involve as a UX Designer with Hub Planner.

  • Work closely with the CEO and marketing on design and UX strategies

  • Design, UX and core parts of our product and branding to increase our market presence

  • Assist with advertising efforts to help beautify the Hub Planner brand

  • Participate in Daily Stand up Scrum meetings with the tech team

  • The UX, UI, and visual design of the Hub Planner campaign site by balancing the needs of our users, our design aesthetic, and the objectives of the business

  • Proactively addressing UI concerns and suggesting improvements

  • Collaborating with the Marketing/Tech teams to assess product requirements and translate them into compelling designs that optimize the user experience

  • Building rapid high fidelity prototypes, landing pages, and marketing assets

  • Creating iterative designs that meet project objectives and incorporate feedback, analytics, and user testing

  • Be part of new feature brainstorming

  • Confidently presenting design ideas and recommendations to the team

  • Work with Frontend requirements.

Requirements & Skills

If you would like to be a successful UX Designer at Hub Planner, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in visual, Product, eCommerce, brand, or marketing design

  • A portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and visual design work for mobile and desktop

  • Fluent in design and UX tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision

  • Knowledge of how mocks translate to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver feasible designs

  • Understand how visual and interaction design work together to create great user experiences

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited resources by being self-motivated and working independently to deliver projects on time

  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders in English

  • Ability to discern priorities and constraints, and to devise appropriate solutions

  • Ability to think critically and creatively

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Experience with SaaS applications, especially within the Resource Management or Project Management sector is merited.

  • Excellent English Skills (our working language)

  • A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative is a desired trait you can display.
