With the new 30 minute increments you can now plan your resource bookings in half-hour gaps as opposed to full-hour. This new time setting also allows you to schedule your working day to start or finish on a half-hour which will help those businesses who have a working day which ends at 17:30 for example.
If you would like to see a more granular day-view grid you will also be able to adjust your grid to display half hour intervals by visiting the settings page under Account Settings.
